Jean-Michel Pochet is a nephrologist in the Clinique Sainte-Elisabeth in Namur (CHU UCL) ; he trained in medicine and nephrology at the University of Louvain Medical School in Brussels. He also trained in nephrology in Necker Hospital in Paris. He has been until recently the head of the Nephrology Department in his Institution. He is also consultant at the Cliniques universitaires Saint Luc in Brussels.
His main topics of interest are the mineral disorders associated with ESRD, hypertension and the modalities of chronic renal replacement therapy.
