Georges Cornet

Georges Cornet is nephrologist and head of the department nephrology at the CHR Verviers East Belgium. He trained in internal medicine and nephrology at the University of Liège. He has been member and after president of the Ethics Committee of his Hospital. He is responsible for training of junior doctors. He was also member of the Scientific Committee of the Association for Information and Research of the Renal Genetic Disorders (AIRG). 

Doctor Cornet is currently the president of the Society of Frenchspeaking Nephrologists from Belgium (GNFB).

In Verviers, he is in charge of the patients with renal failure, of the patients followed after renal transplantation and on renal replacement therapies.
